A career rooted in care
I was born and raised in a small town in southern Brazil, where caring for others was simply part of everyday life. Becoming a nurse felt like a natural path, and from the very beginning, I was drawn to caring for babies, children, and families.
That path led me through a Nursing Residency in Child Health, followed by a Master's and a PhD in Health Science. Throughout my academic and clinical career, one question has remained at the center of my work:
How can we better support babies, children, and the people who care for them?
From hospital corridors to homes in Sweden and beyond
In 2021, I moved to Malmö with my husband. Living abroad gave me a new perspective on pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. I experienced what it means to build a life away from your support network and came to appreciate how important continuity, trusted guidance, and human connection become during major life transitions.
That experience eventually led me to doula work. I first trained as a postpartum doula, supporting families through one of life's biggest adjustments. Soon after, I became a baby massage instructor, expanding my work with families during the early months of parenthood. Later, I trained as a birth doula so I could offer continuous support from pregnancy through the postpartum period. As my practice continued to evolve, I also became a lactation consultant, allowing me to provide more comprehensive feeding support.
Today, I work with expectant and new parents across Malmö, Lund, nearby towns, Copenhagen, and online with families around the world.
Many of the families I support are international, navigating parenthood in a new country. Others are local Swedish families looking for continuous, evidence-based care. Regardless of where you come from, my goal is the same: to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you grow into your new role.

My approach to care
Pregnancy and parenthood come with more information than ever before. Yet many families still feel overwhelmed when it's time to make decisions, adapt to unexpected changes, or simply understand what's happening.
I know that information alone isn't enough. What many parents are looking for isn't more advice, but someone who can help them understand their options, make sense of conflicting information, and feel confident in the decisions they make for their family.
Because while birth is a milestone, becoming a parent is an ongoing transition. It brings physical recovery, emotional changes, new responsibilities, and countless decisions that no book or checklist can fully prepare you for.
Throughout pregnancy, birth, feeding, and the postpartum period, families often find themselves navigating uncertainty while trying to make the best decisions for themselves and their baby. And after birth, as attention naturally shifts to the baby, parents' own needs can easily fade into the background.
That's why I believe continuous support matters. Not only during labour or after birth, but throughout the entire transition into parenthood, helping you feel heard, informed, and supported every step of the way.
Working together means you'll have someone who will:
-
Listen without judgment.
-
Take your questions seriously.
-
Help you understand what's happening and why.
-
Offer practical, evidence-based guidance.
-
Support your confidence as you make informed decisions.
-
Care for you, not only your baby.
