A career rooted in care
I was born and raised in a small town in southern Brazil, in a close-knit family where connection and care were part of everyday life. It was no surprise when I chose to become a nurse, and from the very beginning, I was drawn to babies, children, and family-centered support.

My path led me through a Nursing Residency in Child Health, then a Master’s and a PhD in Health Science, where I focused on improving healthcare practices in neonatal and pediatric contexts.

One question has guided me ever since:
How can we care better for babies, children, and their families?

From hospital corridors to homes in Sweden and beyond

In 2021, I moved to Malmö with my husband. Far from home, I began asking new questions about identity, belonging, and what it means to become a parent in a different country.

That’s when doula work found me. I became first a postpartum doula, drawn to the rawness and beauty of the weeks after birth. Later, I expanded into a birth doula to offer continuous care from pregnancy through the fourth trimester.

Today, I support expecting and new parents in person across Malmö, Lund, nearby towns, and Copenhagen, and online, reaching families in Brazil, Europe, and beyond.

Many of the families I care for are international, navigating early parenthood far from their roots. But I also warmly support local and Swedish-speaking families who are looking for continuous and professional care.

My work is designed to meet you where you are! Emotionally, culturally and geographically.

My approach to care

Most people enter parenthood with plenty of information about pregnancy or baby gear, but very little preparation for what comes after.

They’re not prepared for the emotional turbulence.

Not prepared for the physical recovery.
Not prepared for the identity shift, or for the simple fact that they, too, need to be taken care of.

After birth, the world tends to turn all its attention to the baby.
And you? You’re expected to stay strong, stay grateful, and keep going.

That doesn’t have to be your story.

I work to prevent mothers and parents from feeling lost, overwhelmed, and isolated. As a doula, I understand the frustration experienced by pregnant individuals, new mothers, and parents when they receive dismissive responses such as "this is normal" to their questions and concerns. I firmly believe that such answers are not only unhelpful but also leave them feeling unheard and unsupported.

With this care, you will:

  • Be listened to, without judgment

  • Be validated, not dismissed

  • Have your needs noticed, often before you ask

  • Understand what’s happening in your body and emotions

  • Gain tools to feel calmer, more confident and truly supported

  • Learn how to care for your baby while being cared for

This is not just about getting through it.
It’s about being held and feeling like yourself again.

2019

Ph.D. Health Science

MSc Health Science
Federal University of São Carlos (Brazil)

2014

Nursing Residency in Child Health
State University of Londrina (Brazil)

Through my residency program, I gained invaluable practical experience in caring for children and families, developing strong communication skills and a compassionate approach.

2011

Nursing bachelor’s degree
State University of Maringá  (Brazil)
